FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I arrange an autopsy for myself and request a particular procedure be performed?

Yes, you can arrange a complete or partial autopsy on yourself just like what you would do at a funeral home arranging your own funeral service. We will work with you to document your wishes and carry them out after you have died. Most requests are possible but we suggest talking to a member of our staff to discuss your options. You will need to inform other members of your family, friends or your funeral director of your intentions, so our office can be called at the time of death.
