FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does it take to get the autopsy report?

Once the autopsy is complete, a pathologist or designee of Midwest Autopsy will contact the person giving the consent for autopsy with preliminary results and findings. The final report can take from several weeks to a month to prepare due to the detailed studies that may have been performed. Once this report is complete, the balance is due to receive the final written report. If there are any questions at this time, the pathologist or designee of Midwest Autopsy is available to answer all questions. Our services do not stop here just because the autopsy is complete, please check out our Grief Counseling Services.
